Volunteer Company Paid Time Opportunities:

To promote volunteer activity by SelectQuote employees, SelectQuote Cares will offer up to 8 hours per year of CPT (Company Paid Time). CPT is similar to PTO (Paid Time Off), except that there will be no quota relief or other commission perks tied to CPT, and will not be paid out upon leaving SelectQuote. Also, CPT might expire after one year, TBD.

• Company-sponsored events with Family Promise and Second Wind Dreams
  • SelectQuote will sponsor and participate in activities to benefit Family Promise and Second Wind Dreams, for which we will offer volunteer opportunities.
• Group Volunteer opportunities at charities/events of your choice other than Family Promise and Second Wind Dreams.
  • Must be a group of 5 volunteers or more.
  • Must have pre-approval from Manager and SelectQuote Cares
  • Requesting CPT for time off during work hours:  If you organize a group for an event or day of volunteering during regular work hours, upon appropriate approval, you can request up to 8 hours per year of SelectQuote Cares CPT.
  • Requesting CPT for time outside of work hours: If you organize a group for an event or day of volunteering on a weekend, holiday, or after hours, upon appropriate approval, you will be able to request up to 8 hours per year of SelectQuote Cares CPT to use as vacation time (standard vacation protocol applies).

SelectQuote Cares Volunteer CPT Process:

• Identify Activity/Event and organize your team if not a Family Promise or Second Wind Dreams event (5 volunteers minimum if not Family Promise or Second Wind Dreams).
• Acquire appropriate approval
  • If possible, please give your manager two weeks prior notice to receive approval
  • Submit SelectQuote Cares Volunteer CPT request form with contact information for CPT

  • Expect SelectQuote Cares to contact Charity, Host, or Organizer.
• When completed, expect follow up from SelectQuote Cares about your experience.
• SelectQuote Cares Volunteer CPT will be added to your KRONOS

SelectQuote Cares Volunteer of the Month:

We are very proud of our employees and want to support and highlight your volunteer activities. Each month we will choose a Volunteer of the Month, based on your nominations for a fellow employee, or your own volunteer experience.
